WASA Department begins investigating ghost employees


Gilgit (Farman Karim Baig) Chief Secretary GB Sikandar Sultan Raja anger over the city’s water supply, instructed for investigating the ghost employees in the department. Acting on the order of the chief secretary, secretary works Mr. Faisal Zahoor himself started investigating of the employees.

On Tuesday, under the supervision of secretary works all the employees of WASA department called at Lalik Jan stadium.

While talking to Mountain TV Secretary Works said “the department has recruited too much employees and mostly are ghost. The employees are taking salaries without paying duty. That is why it is been instructed to take serious actions against those persons”. “The absent employees will be struck out from the department”.

More than 1300 employees in the WASA department is been a load and burden on the GB government. Most of them are from the other provinces that are doing their business at Gilgit and taking free salary from the department, while the people of Gilgit are for a drop of water.
