The Aga Khan Health Service organizes training for medical practitioners in Gilgit

The Aga Khan Health Service Pakistan organized a medical training in Gilgit, reports said. The training, attended by district medical officers, doctors and lady health workers from across Gilgit-Baltistan, concluded on Monday.

The week-long training’s objectives was to add value to and improve healthcare provision across GB. The trainees were acquainted with modern means of healthcare systems and to use latest technologies to cater to the healthcare needs of the people.

Dr.  Shahzad Ali Khan, the main trainer from Islamabad, reportedly facilitated the session. Secretary Health and Population Welfare Khuram Khan was the chief guest of the training’s closing ceremony.
