“Married to Ramazan Ali Danish (Shaheed), a devoted worker of PPP who remained President, PSF (East) Karachi for many years. He was booked for 47 fake murder charges and was tortured and put behind the bars for four years. Late Danish had been a jail mate of H.E. Asif Ali Zardari in Landhi Jail, Karachi. After four years of physical and mental torture, he was acquitted from prison. On his return to Gilgit, he remained Senior Vice president, PPP, Gilgit. In 1991, I was married to him and lent a helping hand in propagating and familiarizing PPP manifesto in Gilgit Baltistan. Danish was martyred in September 8, 2005. After his assassination, I pulled up my socks to carry on his mission of popularizing PPP’s People friendly charter and program. In 2007, considering my dedication to PPP’s cause and manifesto, I was appointed President PPP(WW) Gilgit Baltistan by Syed Jafar Shah President, PPP GB, and Later with Syed Mehdi Shah as President PPP-GB,. Since then I dedicated my all strength to work for the betterment of women folk as well as extended helping hand to PPP-GB with devotion.”
