No Mountain Too High, Nor Too Easy: Samina Baig and Mirza will facilitate Special Lecture Series at Aga Khan University Karachi

The Pakistani Siblings Samina and Mirza Ali Baig belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan who successfully completed their project 7 Continents 7 Summit will be facilitating Special Lecture Series at the Aga Khan University Karachi. The first lecture of this program will be held Thursday August 28, 2014 at 4:00pm at the AKUH auditorium.

The mountain adventure of these two siblings intends to empower women and encourage gender equality in Pakistan. Samina made her international appearance as the first Pakistani woman to scale the world’s highest peak, the Mount Everest. Next the siblings challenged 7 highest peaks of the world in 7 different countries.

This brother and sister pair will deliver special lectures series to the participants entitled “No Mountain Too High, Nor Too Easy.”

It is also a proud moment for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan that Samina Baig was rewarded with Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the President of Pakistan few days back.
