Karakoram area development organization (KADO) i-Tech alumni reunion and certificate distribution ceremony helds in Gulmit Gojal (The upper Hunza Valley). Almost 700 Graduates from all over Gojal received their certificates of various courses.
The gathering was also attended by Project Manager KADO Ajaz Ali, Human Resource Manager Shahid Ullah Baig, Chairman Golson Abdul Rasheed, and President of the Ismaili Council for Gulmit Nazir Ahmed Zia, Trainer Kado i-Tech Irfan Ali, among others.
KADO has been implementing a project, supported by the European Union and other organizations, aimed at youth development in the region. As part of the training IT Centres have been established in Skardu, Gahkuch, Gilgit, Karimabad and Gulmit where the trainees are being prepared to capitalize on the economic opportunities created by expansion of Information and Communication Technology.
Speaking at the occasion, KADO Project Manager Mr. Ajaz Ali apprises the participants of the project’s progress and achievements during this two years. He congratulated the graduates who have successfully did the trainings at the center.
Trainer of the Kado i-Tech center Gulmit Mr.Irfan Ali share his experiences as a student and as a trainer with the organization He said that through this project KADO had been able to create a pool of skilled youth who are capable to contributing towards the global economy with the help of Information and Communication Technologies in Gilgit Baltistan.
