JUI-F Senator held accountable for vandalising Karakoram Highway with graffiti

HUNZA: Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmood from Jamiat-ul-Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) was held accountable for spoiling the natural landscape in the northern areas of Pakistan on social media.

An account on Facebook named Hunza On Foot posted a picture of the Karakoram Highway where on a boulder, the name of the Senator was painted in red.

Demanding to know why and what gave him the right to have his name was plastered all over the highway at different points, the post accused him of vandalising the natural landscape and destroying its natural beauty.

It further berated the Senator saying there was no way the public would stop littering if the leaders did not learn to lead by example.

The post garnered a host of supportive comments, with one user claiming that political graffiti situation in Naran was much worse.
