Haji Johar Ali Raki becomes uncontested president of GB Chamber of Commerce and Industries

Haji Johar Ali Raki, a prominent businessman of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), became uncontested president of the Gilgit Baltistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (GBCC&I) after withdrawal of other presidential candidates from the run during a sitting in Gilgit on Saturday.

Mr. Johar hails from Jalalabad, Gilgit. He heads the Raki traders – Importers and Exporters, based in Danyore. Mr. Atif Hussain became Senior Vice President of the chamber, while Mr. Saqib Hussain won the seat of Vice President.

Former president of the GBCC&I, Mr. Javed Hussain, took oath from the new office bearers.
