Gojal: Trophy hunting of blue-sheep at KVO conservancy area

An Italian National Jane Colar hunted a Himalayan Blue-Sheep on 07th March 2015. It is the First ever successful hunt of the Himalayan Blue sheep in the year 2015 at the Khunjrab village organization (KVO) conservation area. Mr. Jane Colar hunted 32 inches trophy size Blue sheep.

According to the locals it is one of the big trophy size hunts of Blue Sheep in Pakistan. Blue-sheep are specially found in the KVO conservancy area at the Khunjrab region.


Khunjrab Villagers Organization (KVO) is an umbrella organization of 7 village and women organizations of upper Hunza Valley (Gojal) with a firm vision to conserve wildlife and develop community participation starting from the very grassroots levels. In 1975, Khunjerav became notified by the Govt. of Pakistan as National Park.
