GB government to establish ‘Youth Affairs Department’

GILGIT: GB Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has said that the government is setting up a separate ‘Youth Affairs Department’ to work for the development of the younger generation of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Talking to a delegation in Gilgit, the chief minister said the GB government is determined to enhance the skills of the youth and create employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for them.

He further revealed that the Education Department of Baltistan has set up an endowment fund to facilitate the needy and poor students.

Mr. Hafeez invited said philanthropists are welcome to come forward and contribute in the endowment fund.
