Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has said that Northern Areas Transport Corporation (NATCO) will be further strengthened to provide modern traveling facilities to the passengers.
Presiding over a briefing in Gilgit, he directed food department to ensure wheat transportation by NATCO.
It was arranged by NATCO and Food Department jointly.
Chief Minister emphasized induction of new busses in the NATCO fleet and construction of terminals with all facilities to the passenger.
Chief Minister asked Food department to ensure transparent supply of wheat in Gilgit-Baltistan and address public complaints about its shortage in some areas.
He directed recruitment on vacant posts in Food department on merit to overcome employees shortage.
