“BAAB-UL- ILM” the largest orphanage house inaugurates in Gilgit city

Gilgit (our reporter)The largest orphanage house was been inaugurated in Gilgit city by the name of BAAB-UL-ILM. The house will provide free education, stay, and dine to hundreds of orphans in the area. The Imam of Jama Masjid, Agha Rahat Hussain Al- Hussaini and other notables were present at the opening ceremony.

The building is constructed at the highest point in Gilgit city with the utilization of 3 crore funds. The house will provide admissions to more than One hundred orphan and needy children from Gilgit-Baltistan in the initial phase.

The Ismaili Regional Council for Gilgit appreciated the project and in support handed over a cheque to the founder of the house. Mr. Fida Ali Aisar a religious scholar and representative of the Ismaili community handed over the cheque to Mr. Agha Rahat.

People from different school of thoughts were present at the inauguration ceremony and the speakers appreciated the new project and congratulated Agha Rahat for the completion of the project.
