2 dead, 17 injured in accident of China bound Pakistani van

Two people have died and at least 16 injured in an accident that involved a van headed for China from the Pak-China border town of Sost, Gojal.

The dead are said to be Chinese citizens. Identities of the injured have yet to be determined.

Passengers in the van included a majority of Pakistanis. The injured, who were rushed to a nearby hospital, are said to be in stable condition. The accident occurred near Tashkurgan, China.

The van, reportedly owned by Mr. Mansoor Khan from Shishkat, Gojal, had taken the wrong side when it was hit by a car, Chinese authorities at Khunjerav Check post told Sost Today.
